Mercedes has already teased the all new four-door AMG GT in an unusual “camo” wrap with flames ahead of its official debut. The debut was only expected to be at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
The four-door GT will be replacing the CLS63 due to the 63 variant no longer being produced in the CLS line.
Like most AMG’S, the car will most likely have a hand-built 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that will push out around 600hp. The car will also be equipped with an all new nine-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
Unlike Mercedes’ sedans such as the C-Class, the four-door GT has a lift back tailgate like the AMG GT. The car also appears to have thin sporty taillights. It also has small fixed rear wing which could be available as an option. The first shown Panamericana grille which was featured on the AMG GT seems like it will also make its way onto the four-door GT. Ultimately, judging from the images, we can already notice that this car has some elements of Mercedes’ sports car, the AMG GT.
The four-door AMG GT will be competing with sports cars such as the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera.
