I recently had a photoshoot with a rare Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Series, a Mercedes Benz S63 AMG, a Mercedes Benz G63 AMG and a Ferrari 458 Italia in Durban, KZN.
Unfortunately we could not take the SLS Black Series out to do rolling shots as it only has 649km on the clock and is kept in a pristine condition.
Mercedes Benz SLS AMG Black Series
The SLS Black Series is 1 of 5 in South Africa and its one of the most beautiful Mercedes ever to be made. In honest words, I’m not a huge fan of the normal SLS, but with the Black Series its just different. The beauty and detail to that car is just amazing. The huge 205kg 6.3 liter V8 front engined supercar packs 464kw and 635nm of torque doing 0-100km/h in 3.6seconds with a top speed of 315km/h.
With a weight of 1550kg, the SLS Black Series is not only 70 kilograms lighter than the SLS AMG, but also attains the best power/weight ratio of all AMG Black Series vehicles to date by far.
The design is predominantly wide, muscular and dynamic. The rear presents a brawny appearance on a par with that of the front end. The wing is also pretty stunning as its the perfect size. The interior is amazing with the leather and alcantera with red stiching and aluminum pieces. The red seat belts and emblems look amazing!
I am amazed by the quality in the craftsmanship of the SLS.
Mercedes Benz S63 AMG Coupe
The S63 produces from its 5.5 liter V8 biturbo engine 430kw and 900nm of torque which does 0-100km/h in 4 seconds. The S63 is very seductive in its coupe form.
Mercedes Benz G63 AMG
The twin-turbocharged AMG 5.5-Liter V8 engine has 420kw with torque of 760nm which allows it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 210 km/h (electronically limited).
The G63 is a beast in its category. There’s no real way to stop a monster with great looks, speed and a very strong chassis.
This G63 had a stunning configuration. It had a matte black paint job on the exterior and light brown quilted leather inside.
Ferrari 458 Italia
The 4.5 liter V8 engine has 419kw and 540nm of torque which results in the car doing 0-100km/h in a mind blowing 3.3 seconds and doing a top speed of 325km/h.
The cream leather interior with the red stitching looks incredible and suits the car perfectly. And not to mention the stunning steering wheel with a combination of carbon fiber and leather also with red stitching.
This beautiful 458 got an ARMYTRIX exhaust system and a perfect sized spoiler making the car look perfect.
