I recently managed to organise a photoshoot with one of the most bespoke cars. Thanks to Pedro from Daytona Group, McLaren SA.
The closer I got to the car, the more my heart beat increased. This was the most insane looking 650s ever. Every panel, every part drew my attention making it impossible for me to stop taking pictures.
This McLaren 650s Frank Stephenson Edition is the only 1 in SA and its the only Coupe out of the 50 models! Thats so cool!
Finished in Agrigan Black Metallic by McLaren Special Operations the 650s is done in Full Alcantara with Red Accents with all Carbon Fibre satin finishes. It also has Black Painted Bezels and switch gear.
The super lightweight wheels looks absolutely epic. The engine is fitted with Satin Carbon Fibre Engine Covers, Satin Carbon Fibre Bay Panels and Alloy Oil and Header Caps. Fitted with Satin Carbon Fibre Diffuser, Rear Bumper, Exhaust Surrounds and an Airbrake.
With 478kw and 678NM of torque the McLaren 650s does 0-100km-h in a mind blowing 3 seconds and 0-200km/h in 8.4 seconds before totalling out at a maximum speed of 333km/h. That is absolutely bonkers! I can say that because I’ve went in a 650s twice and it does not disappoint.
I can definitely say that if I had enough money to choose from an Aventador and 650s, I’d go for the 650s.
