After the long wait from the debut of the second-generation R8 Spyder at the 2016 New York Autoshow, Audi has finally include the V1o Plus to its range.

The soft-top roof can be opened or closed in 20 seconds while doing speeds up to 50 km/h (31 mph). In this top of the range model you get a lot of bang for your buck. You get Carbon fiber-reinforced plastic seat frames, Carbon-ceramic brakes, Nappa leather trim, a multi-function leather steering wheel and a brilliant shelf infotainment system.

The R8 V10 Plus Spyder pushes out 449 kW (610 hp) which propels it from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 328 km/h, and this makes it the fastest convertible Audi has to offer.

The new Micrommata green paint job is brand new for the R8 series. The optional design package consists of an anthracite gray single frame grille and black tailpipe covers. The interior is all black in Nappa leather with green stitching accents on the seats, center armrests, doors, and floor mats.

Competitors

I am quite curious to see how the R8 V10 Plus compares to some of its competitors such as the new 570s Spider and the Mercedes Benz AMG GT C Roadster.
