The new Camaro ZL1 was just announced for next year, in coupe and convertible form. The 640-horsepower ZL1 doesn’t seem like enough, so it seems that Chevrolet are trying to build a more hardcore version in the form of a 2017 Camaro Z/28.

The Z/28 is Chevrolet’s rawest, sharpest, most track-oriented car which means that there’s no A/C, no radio, no sound, tons of downforce and a 505-horsepower V8 engine.

The deep canards on the front bumper flank the a huge front air intake, a giant spoiler and of course a big set of wheels.

Seems like the Shelby GT350R has competition.
